What's the difference between notarization and apostille?

Notarization verifies a document's authenticity within Canada. An apostille is an official certificate added to a notarized document that makes it legally recognized internationally. The Mobile Notary handles both steps to prepare your documents for use abroad.

How long does apostille typically take?

We offer same-day and next-day apostille services for time-sensitive needs. Standard processing takes 3 to 5 business days. Timeline depends on document type and current volume. Contact us with your deadline, and we'll confirm what we can deliver.

Which documents need apostille?

Birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas, powers of attorney, and court orders commonly require apostille for international use. Any document you plan to use abroad may need one. We can review your specific documents and let you know if apostille is required or if a notary is required.

Can you apostille documents that are already notarized?

Yes. If your document is already notarized, we can help to get the apostille certificate directly. If it's not notarized, we'll handle both the notarization and apostille in one process to save you time.

Do you handle multiple documents at once?

Absolutely. We process batches of documents regularly. Whether you need 2 or 20 documents apostilled, we can manage the full order with consistent turnaround. Bulk orders may qualify for package pricing—ask us about your specific count.

What if my document is in a language other than English?

We apostille documents in any language. The apostille certificate itself is issued in English and is recognized internationally. Translation isn't required for apostille, though some countries may request certified translations separately.
