Apostille Services for Etobicoke Residents and Businesses
If you live or work in Etobicoke and have been told to "get your documents apostilled," you don't need to make the trip downtown to Official Documents Services or figure out the process alone. We handle apostille and authentication for Etobicoke clients end-to-end — you drop off, mail in, or courier your documents, and we take care of the rest. Etobicoke residents most commonly need an apostille for immigration applications, work permits, marriage abroad, school admissions, and cross-border business. We coordinate with the correct provincial or federal office depending on your document type, so you're not stuck guessing whether Official Documents Services or Global Affairs Canada handles your case.

What Is an Apostille, and Do You Need One?
An apostille is an official certificate attached to a Canadian public document that confirms it's genuine, so it will be accepted in another country that belongs to the Hague Apostille Convention. Since Canada joined the Convention in 2024, most Etobicoke residents can now get a single apostille certificate instead of going through the older, multi-step authentication and legalization process for member countries. Depending on your document type and where it was issued, your apostille will be handled either by Ontario's Official Documents Services or by Global Affairs Canada federally. We sort this out for you before anything is submitted, so you're not sending documents to the wrong office and losing days waiting for them to come back.
